Apple's new iPhone 6 may have a curved, wraparound screen, according to a recent Apple patent filing. The patent shows off an iPhone design with a wraparound AMOLED screen, which appears to be similar in design to the fourth generation iPod Nano, has gained particular attention.

LG to begin Optimus F5 global rollout in France on April 29

LG will begin to release the Optimus F5, the mid-range device, in France on April 29th before beginning to roll out globally.

LG's F-series handsets offer a solution to 4G being limited to high-end handsets such as the iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One.

The F5 will launch in France initially followed by parts of Asia and South/Central America over the next several weeks.

Microsoft reveals plans for Bing, Skype, and Xbox rebranding

Microsoft have revealed plans to rebrand Bing, Skype, Yammer, and Xbox during a design day event in Norway.

The company held a talk on "The re-imagining of Microsoft," led by Windows Phone design studio manager, Albert Shum and executive creative director of Wolff Olins, Todd Simmons.

Sony has officially announced that the Xperia Tablet Z is now available for pre-order in the US
